There are several sites that offer
free blogs that are quick and easy
to setup for use in and out of the
classroom, ie: blog.com, wordpress.com, blogger.com, etc...
Step 1)You will need an email address. I use Blogspot.com as they let you use your gmail account to sign in.
Step 2) Now you will need to think up a name for your blog. The one I created for this assignment I gave it the name of the course;
Social Sciences--General I/S.
Hit continue and then you are ready to go.
There are several backgrounds and templates that can be used to present the information that you will be showing on the Blog.
I have chosen a plain background for this assignment as it is easier to read the text and more easily navigated. The options with a blog are nearly limitless, the teacher can allow the students the ability to comment on the page publicly or privately as a way to contact the teacher, there is an archive for older posts, and there isn't a limit for file sizes which can be uploaded.
Alright guys this is as far as I have gotten so far for this project we can tweak this post even I'm just trying to get the snowball rolling.
